The Kidon is a unit which belongs to the Caesarea department (one of Mossad's eight departments. It’s known as "an elite group of expert assassins who operate under the Caesarea branch of the espionage organization. Not much is known about this mysterious unit.

Together with Shurat HaDin, they started Operation Harpoon, for ”destroying terrorists’ money networks.

Duvdevan are noted for undercover operations in urban areas, during which they often wear Arab civilian clothes as a disguise.[1] They are also known to be trained in human and mechanical counter-surveillance. Unlike other special forces units, they can operate independently in more than one place at a time. The unit performs many high-risk and complicated operations, including targeted killing, kidnappings, and a range of other undercover operations in Arab areas, many of which are classified.[2]

Samson Unit, or Shimshon (שמשון), was a special forces unit within the Israeli Defense Forces named after the biblical figure Samson. Shimshon unit's modus operandi focused on undercover military operations against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip.[1][2] Shimshon was disbanded in 1996 following the Oslo Accords. The Samson Unit had a "sister unit" Duvdevan, which operated in the West Bank.

The Yamam (Hebrew: ימ"מ‎, an acronym for Centralized Special Unit (יחידה מרכזית מיוחדת, Yeḥida Merkazit Meyuḥedet), also called Israel's Counter Terrorism Unit(ICTU) in English, is an Israeli counter-terrorism unit, one of four special units of the Israel Border Police. The Yamam is capable of both hostage-rescue operations and offensive take-over raids against targets in civilian areas. Besides military duties, it also performs SWAT duties and undercover police work.
